How to provide data security in a digital economy

How to provide data security in a digital economy

Defending information from digital threats

Cybersecurity is one of the most pressing threats to world security. It is a problem that governments and businesses have struggled with since the dawn of digital transformation and, while regulation such as GDPR has been introduced in an attempt to make companies take it more seriously, we are still seeing frequent hacks take place.

In the modern digital world, information management needs to be taken extremely seriously. Governments need to prepare a legislative base to protect business information and consumers' private data. Businesses need to have in place the strategy, talent and latest technology to ensure a robust defence against bad actors so that they can act quickly to rectify any incursions.

‘Data security of digital economies' will see leading experts share their ideas around defending information today, talking us through the impact of new regulations such as GDPR and how to react if the worst should happen.
