Governments play a key role in the digital economy. In order to flourish, business needs the infrastructure, regulatory environment and trust of international partners that government provides. And the relationship is reciprocal — with the new technologies developed by enterprise enabling new efficiencies and transparency in government.
How do technologies change the relationship between citizens and government? What are the economic effects of smart technologies? How can business and governmental institutions collaborate to serve mutual interests? What successful approaches already exist? This event will bring together representatives of governmental institutions, leaders of Russian and international business, scientists and tech-experts to discuss the answers to these questions, drawing on a deep, diverse pool of experience.
The discussion is a part of Binary District X Strelka summer programme. The programme involves a series of educational events about digital technologies and innovations, featuring international business owners, scientists, public and political leaders. We will look into the evolution of both big and small business caused by new technologies, outlining the resources needed to transition towards a new digital model and the limits and opportunities.
