A new layer of privacy for blockchain
We’ve joined forces with Work on Blockchain to bring you two of the leading blockchain projects — AZTEC Protocol and Clearmatics. They will be leading discussion around the theory underpinning zero-knowledge proofs and how they’re using them to introduce greater privacy to blockchain. This meetup is free to attend and will take place at Primalbase London, in Moorgate. Food and refreshments will be provided and there will be plenty of time for networking before and after.

The transparency and lack of anonymity inherent in a blockchain like Bitcoin render it unfit for purpose for a lot of potential use cases. The movement toward zero-knowledge protocols on the likes of Ethereum is in an attempt to offer greater privacy without sacrificing any of blockchain’s core tenets. Companies like Zcash are helping zero-knowledge protocols gain ‘mainstream' interest, as developers look for ways to address the current problems associated with fully decentralised public
