ASR and the future of enterprise

The implications of AI in voice recognition are many. Automatic speech recognition (ASR) provides a valuable new stream of data for organisations, analysis of which has the potential to greatly benefit customer experience, help shape more efficient processes and protect against fraud.

This potential is already being realized, with ASR being adopted in industries as diverse as medicine and retail. Exploiting it, however, is no easy task. There are many risks and potential pitfalls that organizations need to be aware of. ASR also raises important questions around data ownership — questions which are particularly important in light of new regulations such as GDPR.
